Wednesday night I went to a special presentation at the Wayne RESA on Internet safety for kids. It was part of the national Stay Safe Tour.

Here is a quick summary.

The Saint’s beat the Hornet’s 9 to 1. They are now 2 and 0. Great job!!

new part time job

I don’t have a new job but I have some new weekly commitments that I am happy to give my time and talent to each week. I am being a classroom helper for JJ’s class on Tuesday and Friday and I will also be in Sam’s classroom on Wednesday. I am also going to involved in the local Tiger Cub at Schweitzer. JJ has chosen Cub Scouts this year instead of karate this year for his extra-special activity. I will get to be with JJ every week and the program is completely dependent on parental participation. It should be lots of fun and it is fun for me to be with the kids in their special environments.

soccer update

Emily’s team won 2/0 against Marshall Middle School. Emily played three out of four quarters playing goalie and half-back. Emily had a great save on goal while she was in the box. Way to go Emily and the Saints of Stevenson!!

Emily has her first soccer game on Monday afternoon as a Junior Varsity member of the Stevenson Middle School Saints.

Sami had her second Hip Hop dance class this week. She is enjoying the class very much. She is taking the class at the Wayne Recreation Center on Thursday night.

good e-card source

I like sending e-cards and have always used Yahoo Greetings but was never happy that there was a limited selection of free cards and all the good cards cost .99. But now I can skip Yahoo in favor of good old Hallmark.

They have a great selection of course and the best part is that they are all FREE!!
